What it is
Our free quality childcare at Happy Kids will help your child learn lots of new skills; they’ll learn to speak and listen, play and explore, learn numbers and other activities.
They’ll make lots of new friends and you’ll have time to work, train or just have some time to yourself.
Who is eligible
All three and four year olds are entitled to up to 15 hours per week of childcare at Happy Kids each year at no cost to you. Happy Kids will show you what information we need to claim the free place for your child. From September 2017, if both parents of three and four years are working at least 16 hours per week you will be able to claim 30 hours per week of childcare at Happy Kids.
Most two year olds are also able to have the same free childcare, but starting a whole year earlier. If you earn below £16,190 a year or are unemployed, or if you foster a child or your child has a disability, then your child can also have up to 15 hours of free childcare per week starting from the term after their 2nd birthday, and carry on receiving it until they start school.
