There's lots of opportunities to get involved in planning nursery activities and attend our events and fun days. We offer a warm welcome to the Happy Kids family.
Your child will have a dedicated key person at Happy Kids who will develop a close relationship with you and your child and ensure their individual needs are met.
You can talk to your key person about any routines, likes or dislikes your child may have or special interests at home. This will help us plan activities to help your child develop new skills and make them comfortable in the preschool nursery.
This can be a big step for parents as well as children. One of the big benefits of attending Happy Kids is that we make this stage in yours and your child's life as worry-free as possible.
We have lots of ways of preparing your child including arranging visits from teachers, showing photos of "big" school and playing role play and dress up in school uniforms.
Parenting isn't easy but Happy Kids is always here to help. Whether its getting more regular sleep patterns or help with behaviour you can talk to your key person or preschool nursery manager, who can offer advice. They can suggest activities to help develop your child's skills at home as well as at preschool nursery.

Everyone parent needs some extra time and Happy Kids can help. Whether its for work, getting things done or for some valuable "me" time, just ask your preschool manager to book some extra sessions when you need them.
And don't forgot many 2 year olds and all 3 and 4 year olds can get 15 hours of free quality childcare from Happy Kids.

The care and needs of you and your child are our number one priority at Happy Kids. We follow national guidelines to make sure there is always a member of our experienced and qualified staff team available to care for and develop your child. This includes having maximum numbers of staff to children. Each member of staff is never responsible for more than the following numbers of Happy Kids each - 3 babies, 4 two year olds or 8 toddlers. The preschool nursery has disabled access toilets equipment and resources designed to meet your child's unique needs. Talk to your local preschool manager to find out more.
We develop menus that are specifically planned to meet all children's dietary needs and are freshly prepared on a daily basis. Children have an opportunity to develop their social and communication skills while learning about healthy eating and exploring different types of food. You may choose to pay for meals or provide your own packed lunch for your child. Happy Kids also provide free healthy snacks in between meals for your child to enjoy. Fresh water is available at all times.
Throughout your child's time at Happy Kids we will show you all those achievements, special moments, artwork, photos and fond memories and add these to your child's learning journey which captures your child's progress at Happy Kids. This Learning Journey can be shown to your child's new school so they can see how well they have developed. This is then yours to keep and treasure forever.
Your child will have lots of fun in our secure outdoor play area helping them learn the importance of physical activity. The range of activities and equipment has all been selected for your child's own age group. Children are supervised at all times so they are always safe and secure. The outdoor play area allows your child to discover challenges through play and try new experiences, and many parents find it helps children sleep better at night!
